As an Immortal, you can attempt to defend your treasure against these invading Shadows. As a Shadow, you can attempt to steal the treasures stored within. The Immortals can store away their treasures in their own Vault, while the Shadows test the Immortals by raiding said Vaults. Kion's Ordeal is a game mode exclusive to the Immortals, where 48 people engage in a PvE raid for unique rewards. The Cycle of Strife has several modes within it. In Battleground, players visit the Immortal Overlook in Westmarch and engage in 8v8 team-based PvP battles.
